Do you feel that you are too far gone in life to ever turn things
around? Are you feeling helpless and/or maybe hopeless? Have you
been told by those nearest and dearest to you that you will never
amount to anything? Have you felt like you're just wandering through
life with no direction?
Well,
Regina Mixon's award-winning book To God Be the Glory and
her new inspirational radio program Making the Best of Today,
provides you with the inspiration you need for encouragement and
motivation. YOU CAN turn your life around and live better than ever
before.
Regina
Mixon is a native of Minden, Louisiana and currently resides in
the Los Angeles, CA area. Having endured many ups and downs in life,
Regina believes that as God blesses us we should pass these blessings
on to others through teachings; teaching others some of the pitfalls
to avoid and ways to live a productive, prosperous life.
Believing that any and all dreams are attainable by one having faith
in God and themselves and being willing to put in the work, Regina's
lifelong ministry is one of encouraging others to pursue their purpose
with passion in life as dreams can and often do become reality.
Regina believes the bible to be the best book of all times and if
one applies biblical principles one can attain a lifestyle many
only dream of and in doing so can help others to do the same.
There have been many mentors in Regina's life however she give special
credit to her Pastor, W. Terrell Snead, II and Jewel Diamond Taylor
for encouraging, teaching and inspiring her to pursue her God-given
calling.

Making
the Best of Today
Regina
discusses with upcoming authors Robert Nubine and Emily Mixon their
book, "Life
From a Teenagers Perspective." Each tells a bit of their story
to encourage teens and inform adults of some of the challenges children,
and teens face. Additionally, they discuss their love for dance
and so many other things. You definitely want to listen to this
show if you are a teen facing challenges. You will be encouraged.
If you are an adult that thinks that maybe kids don't really know
anything, you are in for a rude awakening.
ENOUGH!
In
the 2002 movie, "Enough," Jennifer Lopez or Slim went
through an abusive relationship with her spouse. One day she woke
up and said "enough" and set about making changes to defeat
the enemy in her life. And she did. Are you ready to say enough
in your life and defeat the enemies that have come against you?
Today is your day as Regina encourages you to take charge of your
life and your destiny.
Pay
It Forward: Practice Random Acts of Kindness. What can we do
to help ease the financial load that we carry in today's times?
With random acts of kindness. Even small things make a difference.
The movie "Pay it Forward is one of my favorites." It has a wonderful
message. A teacher gives an assignment to his 7th grade class. It
was no small feat. The assignment was to think of ways to change
the world and to make it happen. One student, Trevor, took the task
very seriously. He took a homeless person and drug addict into his
home. Trevor's plan was to help 3 people and these 3 people help
3, and so on... and kindness spread throughout. Find out more on
Making the Best of Today.

What
time is it in your life? Is it time for a Change? Have you looked
at yourself lately? I mean really looked at YOU. Do you say to yourself
in certain situations
It's not that bad? Well, maybe it really
is and its time for a change.
Are
there some people and things in your life you know that its
time to let go? Well, Regina encourages you to do so and do
it now. This message is for those who have been holding on to destructive
habits/relationships that prevents them from moving forward. Pastor
Sneads message is I Almost Let Go. Regina encourages
us to let go of whats holding you back. Pastor Snead encourages
one to hold on to what God has given.
