Shift
Happens
Even
though change is uncomfortable or frightening, the more you resist,
the more it will persist. Learning to surrender and yield to shifts
in careers, relationships and external conditions that you have
no control of can reduce your stress. It may seem like your life
is falling apart at times, but it may be coming together in a better
way.
Change
means exchange; Instead of saying you have been laid off a job say
your career path has been redirected. You will be exchanging one
career path for another. As hard as it is to let go of relationships,
you will maintain self-esteem and serenity if you perceive the shift
as making room for a better relationship. Sometimes when your ego
or fear stops you from making a necessary change, shift happens
and creates the change that you were trying to avoid. Life will
invite you or challenge you to grow and shine.
Shift
will demand you grow and stretch in your faith and courage. Don't
get caught up labeling the shift as bad or good. It just IS. In
time, it will all make sense if you affirm that divine order is
always taking place in your life. It's easy to affirm this when
all is well. The true test comes in times of unwelcome and unexpected
change. This is when your level of faith will help you to trust
and keep pressing forward even when you're not sure what to expect
next.
Change
is a part of life. The seasons change. The economy changes. People
and circumstances are unpredictable. Children, parents and you will
grow older. Mother Nature cleanses, shakes, erupts, and burns. But,
new life always returns and restores in time.
If
you greet the shifts in your life with negative and fearful emotions,
the shift will seem like a revolution. If you greet the shifts in
your life with a positive and hopeful attitude, the shifts in your
life can be perceived as evolution. Chaos could mean a time of creativity.
Something is trying to be born.
